Tumblers at 100 Fountain Street, located next to the Dean Hotel, is a hot new spot for cocktails. Stop by for a signature fresh pressed pineapple and rum with house-made coconut crème. Opens at 6pm.

Shelter Arcade Bar Kitchen at 111 Dike St. is now serving up pizza from 6:30pm to midnight. The Angry Birds features buffalo chicken with house-made buffalo sauce, bacon and banana peppers; the Italian Plumber is a smother of mushrooms and peppers. Game on!

North Bakery has opened a second artisan cafe, offering breakfast and lunch items in downtown Providence at 2 Kennedy Plaza. Look for coffee and espresso drinks, chai, breakfast bagels, signature hand pies, sweets, salads and sandwiches. Open daily from 7am to 6pm.

Alchemy at 71 Richmond St. 2nd Fl. is a new home for musicians to perform in a welcoming, fair-business practice environment, according to proprietor Davey Moore of Midday Records.
