Friskie Fries’ storefront is officially open for business; Grand Opening was on Nov 11. 110 Washington St, PVD.

Yoleni’s, a Greek foods marketplace, is opening  soon, offering  fresh and prepared foods at the Tilden-Thurber building in downtown PVD. The first floor is still under construction/renovation, and there are plans to include a mezzanine level. The store will be the first US location for the Athens-based company. 292 Westminister St, PVD.

Wilbury Theatre has moved into new space. 40 Sonoma Ct, PVD.

Jordans Jungle has reopened. specializing in over 150 varieties of tillandsia (air plants) along with many types of bromeliads, cacti, succulents and tropical houseplants. 545 Pawtucket Ave,  Suite B 107, Pawtucket.

TroopPVD is a new bar with awesome style in Olneyville; check their hours on FB. 60 Valley St, PVD.

Dash Bicycle is remodeling to add a café to the existing bicycle shop. 228 Broadway, PVD.


Saltwater Tavern has closed its doors, we hope not forever. 195 Main St, South Kingstown.

A new hotel will be occupying the space of the iconic downtown building in which the Biltmore used to reside. Renovations will transform the hotel into a dorm-like long-term residency for college students and the like. We will keep you posted as the changes are made. 11 Dorrance St, PVD.

Mardi Gras Multi Club, the bright and shiny club and music venue near the Warwick Mall, has closed. Another RI landmark that will still be referred to for a good 10 years. 1500 Oaklawn Ave, Cranston
