The Southside Cultural Center of Rhode Island (SCCRI) is hosting its fall open house and fundraiser on Saturday, October 6, from 10am to midnight. During the day, attendees can explore the SCCRI, peruse its world market full of produce and artisans’ creations, take a yoga class or attend a music or spoken word performance. The family-friendly portion of the event lasts until 6pm.
As the sun sets, the party heats up. Food at the 21+ evening event will be provided by Food4Good, and Revival Brewery and Long Live Beerworks will provide the drinks. After a 7pm performance by Sidy Maiga and AfriManding, DJ Maestro-x will lead a community dance party that lasts till midnight. The SCCRI is at 393 Broad St, PVD.
