Gluten-Free at Diego’s

Diego’s Newport on Bowen’s Wharf is an unexpectedly gluten-free and vegan friendly experience! I had the chicken enchiladas dinner plate, and it was delightful! Their corn tortillas stuffed with chicken tinga, a traditional Mexican style shredded chicken, street corn, roasted veggies, and Oaxaca cheese were covered in a house-made Rioja sauce to create the best enchiladas I’ve had! I substituted the refried beans for guacamole to eat with their gluten free house chips.
