On April 23, Motif hosted its first annual tattoo awards event at Alchemy, and it left an indelible memory on the minds of those who attended (especially those who attended the event with a fresh “Hi, Neighbor!” tattoo inked by Richmond Tattoo and sponsored by Narragansett). With a gallery of tattoo art, music by DJ Superdope, food by Pizza J and a high volume performance by The McGunks, this celebration of an art form not celebrated often enough was a rousing good time.
