Blessing of the Fleet in Narragansett: Food, drink, nautical-themed entertainment and sidewalk buskers, all anchored by a procession of decorated ships vying to be crowned “best decorated.” The blessing and contest are Saturday at noon, but entertainment takes place all day. There is also a 10-mile road race open to all, including wheelchairs, which over 3,000 people ran in last year, on Friday starting at 5pm.
