Athena is in search of her forever home, along with her five littermates! Athena is one of the six Great Dane puppies recently surrendered to Anchor Paws Rescue. Athena is approximately 10 weeks old. As a typical puppy, Athena is a happy-go-lucky girl who can make friends with anyone! She loves playing with other pups and is the perfect addition to just about any family. Athena spends her spare time taking naps in her favorite bed, cuddling on the couch with her foster mom and sun bathing in the backyard. Athena and her litter mates would do best with a family that has large-breed experience and a fully fenced-in backyard so they can stroll and smell the roses untethered.
Anchor Paws is an all-volunteer and foster based rescue that helps find homes for local pups and refugee pets from the south. These puppies have had the advantage of growing and learning in home environments, which allows them the individualized care and training plans they need. All six are learning the life skills of house training and leash walking, and their foster parents have reported they are making great strides. All puppies have age-appropriate vaccines and will be spayed and neutered. Puppies in this litter are Merle, harlequin, and black and white in color.
