Community Gardens

Community gardens are the perfect spot to get your hands dirty if you don’t have your own little backyard plot of land. Not only can you grow your own food, but you can share resources and knowledge with other gardeners in your community. This is a small sampling of the many community gardens across the state. Farm Fresh RI is an excellent resource for finding one in your area. The Southside Community Land Trust is also a great resource. Check them both out at farmfreshri.org and southsideclt.org. Spring veggies, like broccoli, peas, radishes and greens, can go into the ground as early as April, so find a plot of land and get planning!
