AS220 broke our hearts when they announced that there will be no Foo Fest this summer. But like a guilty lover, they dangled irresistible Foo-like programming in front of us that will be happening all summer long. It’s like a deconstructed Foo Fest, and we and our Foo-ish hearts will definitely be there. Their programming kicks off with a mini maker faire as part of PVDFest. Then the Queer Arts Fest takes place from June 9 through 15 leading up to RI Pride (Pro tip: The AS220 restaurant is a prime parade-watching spot).
