Thousands of zombies are about to celebrate Zombie Night XII by invading the Quarantine Zone on Snow Street in front of event hosts The Dark Lady and The Alley Cat. “It’s like bringing your kids to the pumpkin patch,” said ringmaster Reverend Al Mighty of this annual tradition.
Rev Al proudly boasts that Zombie Night is the antiestablishment event of the year. “[Zombie Night] was made by people who want to party,” said Rev Al. “We say, ‘Fuck you,’ to the corporate-run parties. They are overpriced and under-fun!”
Spinning haunting hymns for this 21+ indoor/outdoor dance party will be DJ AV8, DJ Joey Dee and DJ Transcendence. Blaring bizarre brass and beating on decrepit drums, the Extraordinary “Zombie” Band will make an appearance. Providing a sight for infected eyes, the Boolesque show returns with Stage Kitty aiding burlesque performers Kurt Fowl, Maiden X, Blitzen Von Schtupp and the original Zombie Night queen Bettysouix Tailor. As the clock strikes midnight, the dancing dead will be treated to a special showcase featuring Jacqueline DiMera, Viza D. Klein, Ninny Nothin and Yolandi Fizzure. Best zombie costume gets a $666 cash prize and 2nd place collects tickets to this year’s Rhode Island Comic Con in November. Don’t miss this event or a horde of human-hungry hellions might come to devour you!
Zombie Night takes place on Oct 13 at 7pm. Admission is free before 8pm. More information and surprises will be updated regularly on the event page at fb.com/events/532941833804438
