Jen Long

Jen Long is the creator of The Whale Guitar Project : Melville’s cautionary tale on an instrument of change! This custom handmade electric guitar is a Rhode Island treasure that arose from its wellspring of artists and musicians. Imagined by Jen, it was designed by William Schaff and built by Rachel Rosenkrantz, with hand-built electronics by Gwen Forrester. Its mission is to inspire action to protect ocean life from deadly fossil fuel extraction and spills, climate change, and plastic trash with every audience we reach and each guitarist who plays it! Who will play it next?
