Calling All Artists: Motif will display your work in a virtual gallery

Art brings community together and promotes positive mental health, and we want to encourage community and creativity in this time of social distancing. We are asking visual artists, musicians, creative writers, actors, poets and artists of all kinds to submit their original content to our new virtual gallery!

#MotifVirtualGallery is a compilation page that showcases Rhode Island artists, and you can view it at motifri.com/motifvirtualartgallery. We ask all artists who submit an item to the gallery to include a direct donation link so that those who are able to financially support you can (Venmo, Paypal, Cashapp, Patreon, personal website, etc.). 

If you would like to submit your work to be featured, please email your submission to virtualgallery@motifri.com. The artist’s name should be in the subject line, and a brief bio or description of the piece you are submitting is welcomed.

Visual Artists

• Please submit a photo of the piece and a link to your direct donation or website.

Musicians / Bands / Spoken Word

• Please submit a Youtube, Spotify or Soundcloud link to be embedded and a link to your direct donation or merchandise website.

Creative Writers / Poets

• Please paste your entry into the body of the email, along with a link to your direct donation or website.

Actors

• Please send us a video link of you performing and a link to your donation site or website.

Other

• If you don’t seem to fit into the above categories, send us an email! We’ll figure something out.
