On Friday, October 11, at the Academy Players theater, Radioactive Theatre Company is hosting a fundraiser, called Fight Like a Girl, for Erin Megin, a Radioactive Theatre supporter who is being treated for breast cancer.
The fundraiser will include raffles, vocal performances and stage readings of three new plays written by teacher, actor, director and Motif contributor Shannon McLoud. Moving On is a story of friendship and the next step when your lives go two ways. The Decision is a lighthearted look into all the possibilities one decision can bring up. And the final play, #metoo is the story of the MeToo movement as told through women from different stages of life.
Fight Like a Girl takes place Fri, Oct 11 at Academy Players, 180 Button Hole Dr, PVD at 7pm. There is a $10 suggested donation. For more information, go to facebook.com/events/752702655199826
