Opened/Closed

openedMarch brings plenty of openings for the lunchbreak diners. A new Panera Bread-esque chain has arrived in Garden City Shopping Center, Corner Bakery Cafe, offering patrons an array of sandwiches and salads along with breakfast and dinner classics. Residents of South County no longer need to trek to Seekonk for their Five Guys Burgers and Fries fix. The chain has opened a new spot in Wakefield (next to Belmont). Livi’s Pockets brings a new lunchbreak spot to The Arcade Downtown. If the gyros don’t have you sold, the homemade pita chips will.

If the sound of free chicken wings for life has an appealing ring to it (or if you have a couple dozen pounds to spare), be one of the first 100 customers in line outside of Warwick Mall’s newest eatery, Buffalo Wild Wings, at midnight on March 17 (that’s the wee hours of the morning, not late night). If that kind of hype frankly freaks you out, Wing-In-It bbq and wings has opened in Bristol.

For the sushi lovers, Asahi Restaurant and Bar has landed on Mendon Road in Cumberland guaranteeing freshness. RI welcomes its first authentic Japanese eatery, Ken’s Ramen, that doesn’t center its menu around sushi.
