What do you never leave home without?
I’d like to say something clever like, “a sense of wonder and curiosity,” but the real answer would be chapstick. It’s a mild to moderate obsession.

What’s your favorite book?
I’ve been devouring Modern Classic Cocktails by Death & Co. recently. It’s a wealth of information on everything craft cocktails, with a smattering of humor and super cool photography.

What’s your favorite movie?
Last of the Mohicans

What’s your favorite TV show?
“True Detective.” The writing, cinematography and acting in the first season was brilliant.

Do you have a quote you live by?
“Kindness costs nothing.” The quote might seem a little cheesy, but being kind to someone can completely change their day for the better.

What do you do to stay in shape?
I exercise regularly. Fitness has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, so staying healthy is important to me.

Tell the truth — do you *really* know how to change the oil in a car?
Haha I confess … I don’t know how to change the oil in my car. I can change the oil in my motorcycle. though!

What genre of music is your favorite?

I really dig Motown. My mom loves groups like the Temptations and the Supremes so I listened to them growing up. Simple, beautiful music.

I love Father’s Day because …
Sometimes I’m not great at telling my dad what an inspiration he is and what he means to our family, but father’s day allows me an excuse to spend a little extra time with him so he knows how much I love him.

I’m kind of a romantic. I genuinely enjoy doing sappy, thoughtful things for the person I am with.
