What Cheer Records + Vintage Celebrates Their 17th Anniversary

what-cheer-300x225Ringing in their 17th Anniversary as one of the top record and vintage stores in Providence, What Cheer Records + Vintage has a few things special planned for December 18. Not many independent small businesses can say they have been around as long as What Cheer has, and it’s a wonderful opportunity for shoppers to show their gratitude while buying something special.

Since the late 1990s, Chris Daltry and his wife, Jennifer, have persevered despite the ever-changing tastes of music enthusiasts, the constant roller coaster that is the American economy, a few location changes and numerous obstacles. Through it all, they’ve stayed relevant at their current location on 180 Angell Street. At What Cheer you can find a rare record from your favorite musician, a cute knickknack and some stylish clothes all in one fell swoop. The Daltrys have never been the type to stay in a creative box — they always come up with interesting ideas for their business. Customers are always greeted by the friendly charm of either Chris or Jennifer themselves or their employees. What Cheer possesses a uniquely organic vibe that only a successful small business can capture.

On December 18, in addition to holiday cheer there will be snacks and tasty brews supplied by Narragansett Beer, and everything at the store will have a special 17% discount. What Cheer has never shied away from having live music at their establishment so perhaps a few local artists will be performing a few songs. It’s bound to be a very enjoyable experience. Keep your eyes peeled for more details, but for now mark your calendar for What Cheer Records + Vintage’s 17th Anniversary Celebration on December 18.
