2015 Theater Award winners

So much great theater! Over 3,400 people voted in thes year’s theater awards, which also featured more categories than ever before. The presentation, held at the gracious, spacious and audacious Fête lounge in Olneyville, included not only lots of statuettes, but live performances, delicious bird parts courtesy of Sweet Daddy’s Chicken and FoodinRI, and an inspiring moment that gathered over 20 local theater artistic directors and stage managers including Gamm’s Tony Estrella, 2nd Story‘s Ed Shea, Theater By the Sea’s Kevin Hill and owner Bill Hanney, OSTC’s Amiee Turner and more.

For us, it’s not about who wins, it’s about bringing the talented, driven makers of theater together as a community to celebrate the amazing accomplishments fostered in RI. But nevertheless, there are winners – so here they are! Congratulations to all, and thank you, voters, for taking part!
