Community Autism Resources’ annual Parents’ Retreat Weekend! This year the Oak Hill Band is excited to play at the lovely Arctic Playhouse, conveniently located in West Warwick! Listen, dance, eat, drink, laugh and and do an act of kindness.
For over 25 years, Barry Prizant, Elaine Meyer & the staff of Community Autism Resources have been holding a retreat weekend as an opportunity for parents of autistic family members to step out of the demands of everyday life and connect with others who share their experiences. The restorative benefits of getting away, connecting with friends, enjoying nature and breaking away from daily stresses have had a profound positive impact on families, marriages and autistic individuals. Your $35 individual or $60 couples donation will benefit parent scholarships to help cover families’ expenses for the weekend.
