Urban Carnevale – A Musical Celebration

As part of downtown Providence’s “Three Nights of Lights,” FirstWorks will illuminate the facade of the Trinity Rep building on the corner of Empire and Fountain Streets with a free, continuous screening of “Urban Carnevale.” The performance film was created in December 2020 in partnership with Steer PVD and is a celebration of Providence’s talent, tenacity and creativity. Performances include music from Chachi Carvalho, Sidy Maiga and Oumou Sangaré, Nitin Mitta and Srinivas Reddy, Fidel Nadal, Natále, Nova One (Roz Raskin), Daniel Bernard Roumain, Becky Bass and emcee Lady J.
