What’s your current occupation?

I’m a waitress, I teach photography, and I write about bluegrass people and music for a website called The Bluegrass Situation.

What’s your dream job?

I love all art, so I’d like to create my own art space where people can look about art, talk about art, learn about art, and produce art.

Janine Antoni, who is a RISD graduate, and Nedko Solakov

What’s your favorite book?

The History of Love, by Nicole Krauss; The Giving Tree, by Shel Silverstein; and Scrap Iron, a collection of poetry recently written by my husband, Mark Jay Brewin, Jr.

Tell us something we don’t know.

I got my second tattoo because my husband, a friend and I were picking random activities out of a hat one Groundhog Day. The activity we picked was “Get a tattoo,” so we all did.

What’s your favorite gift that you’ve received?

My husband drew a picture of himself lassoing the moon for me, like in It’s a Wonderful Life.
