The member meeting is Urban Greens Food Co-op’s annual gathering of members to exercise their rights as owners by voting on by-laws updates, voting procedures, and new members to the Co-op Council. This year we have celebrity judges for our highly anticipated Pie Contest and we invited some of our future vendors to promote their local products to our membership. The Cooperative Council will provide soup and bread. If you would like to contribute, we suggest you bring a PIE for the contest!
At the meeting, we will also be asking for food donations for the Rhode Island Food Bank. For a list of the most needed non-perishable foods, please check out the RI Food Bank website. http://www.rifoodbank.org/
