Brooklyn comedian EUGENE MIRMAN escaped the clutches of Russian communism at the age of four when his family immigrated from Moscow to Lexington, MA and later graduated from Hampshire College with a degree in comedy. Eugene voices “Gene” on Fox’s hit animated series Bob’s Burgers and has roles on Flight of the Conchords, Adult Swim’s Delocated, and has two Comedy Central Specials. He was named Best New York City Comedian (Village Voice), “50 Funniest” (Time Out New York), and one of the 10 best comedians of the last decade (Paste). He’s released four comedy albums, two on the SubPop label, and created, curates and hosts the annual Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival in Brooklyn. Named by Rolling Stone as “Hot Twitterer,” Eugene also keeps nearly 300k followers entertained daily.
Comedian extraordinaire KURT BRAUNOHLER brings his whip-smart humor as opener. Called “a prolific stand-up comedian” by the Los Angeles Times, Kurt was also featured in Variety’s annual prestigious “10 Comics To Watch” list, named as Time Out New York’s “50 Funniest” and a “Comic to Watch” by Comedy Central, the New York Comedy Festival and Time Out New York. His debut comedy album ‘How Do I Land?’ is out now on Kill Rock Stars. He has also performed on Conan.
