Steeped in various forms of traditional music, Ryan Taylor Band focuses on strong songwriting and 4-part vocal harmonies to create a dynamic and layered sonic blanket that is the bedrock of American roots music. There is definite bluegrass and Newgrass tendencies found in their sound, with occasional rock elements thrown into the mix, but above all else, the song is king. “That’s the way it should be,” says eponymous bandleader, Ryan Taylor.
