Brian is a singer songwriter who takes elements of the country/roots blend of Americana and adds his clean, smooth vocal style to create a sound once described by a club owner as "Ameri-Crooner". He draws on influences that range from recent artists such as Chris Isaak, Ryan Adams, Pete Yorn, and Glen Phillps to classic voices like Dean Martin, Bobby Darin, Elvis Presley, Merle Haggard and Johnny Cash. Rather than simply emulate these artists and styles, however, Brian blends them together like a cocktail shaker would seamlessly meld separate ingredients into a cohesive, well mixed drink that you can easily get lost in.
