Founded in 1977, the swim is Save The Bay’s largest annual fundraiser, serving as a critical support to efforts to protect and restore the Narragansett Bay region. Every year, nearly 500 swimmers, ages 15 to 77 years, swim 1.7 nautical miles across the Bay to raise money and awareness.
