Learn how to make your a bubbly drink at home! Jena Gaines, a member of the co-op, will impart her knowledge of homemade ginger beer (non-alcoholic) to participants through demonstration. The recipe is made in small batches with ginger bug (not what you’re probably thinking!), a mixture of ginger root, sugar and water that is the base for home made sodas. Ginger bug naturally ferments and adds flavor to beverages, not to mention all of the health benefits this root has to offer! Samples will also be available for participants!
