It’s hard to know what to expect with Tatsuya Nakatani, as the creative artist and percussionist often invents his own instruments and techniques, his music spanning many genres from experimental to jazz to rock and noise, while retaining elements of traditional Japanese folk music. He is performing with Rachel Blumberg, known as drummer of the Decemberists, and drumming and singing with Bright Eyes.
