Join the Association of Migraine Disorders for its second annual Mad Hatter Soirée on Sunday, August 7 from 4 to 8 p.m. and experience Rhode Island’s waterfront “Wonderland” without having to tumble down any mysterious rabbit holes with Alice. The fundraising event – in support of the nonprofit’s interdisciplinary program devoted to migraine pathophysiology research – will be held at the scenic Fort Adams State Park in Newport. The event will feature an “Alice in Wonderland” themed cocktail party with informal lawn games – including croquet and a nine-hole putting course – as well as a sit-down dinner catered by Russell Morin and music and dancing overlooking Narragansett Bay and Newport Harbor. The event will be held rain or shine and is open to the public.
