In with a Bang

On September 28, WaterFire becomes a science timeline of sorts, celebrating everything from early humans’ ability to control fire to modern physics. The Big Bang Science Fair provides visitors with opportunities to stargaze, hang out at the intersection of art and science, code robots and generally explore how science impacts our everyday lives. Lecturers, including Rebecca Thompson explaining the science behind “Game of Thones,” will be present at RISD auditorium from 4 – 10pm, ticketed hands-on workshops (theremin lessons, anyone?) will take place in multiple locations and hands-on activities will be available as long as the fires burn.
