Food Love Market: The behemoth Newport Restaurant Group, owners of Foodlove Market, have decided to close up shop after a 3-year run. Foodlove Market was a combination plate of restaurant, take-out, and grocery store; a combination plate that, well, was a bit too flavorful for the modern palate. We hope that the Newport Restaurant Group, alongside their 80,000 business endeavors, will be able to persevere after such a loss.
Sly Fox Den Too: Sherry Pocknett, James Beard Award-winning chef whose focus is on indigenous cuisine, is closing down her Charlestown location. Motif has profiled the restaurant a few times (check our website), but don’t worry, she’s just planning a move to Connecticut! Best of luck in your move Sherry, we’ll hopefully see you in CT!
