Dennise Kowalczyk – aka The Adventure Broad – chats with Kirk Benttinen of RI Docs about his efforts to share stories about Ocean Staters as a way to reconnect with his home state after moving back to Rhode Island following years away. What started as curiosity has evolved into a growing collection of documentaries about Rhode Islanders—from artists and photographers to a pizza-obsessed assistant principal—with what he calls a bigger goal of “capturing the humanity of Rhode Island.”
This podcast is produced by Adventure Broad Media and produced in collaboration with Motif Magazine.
