This summit is designed for community leaders, anti-hunger advocates, policy makers, educators, and school district staff to learn more about child nutrition programs and advocacy in RI. Hear from leading experts and advocates on the implications of child hunger and the upcoming 2015 Child Nutrition Reauthorization Act. Participate in workshops addressing culture and hunger; expanding and advocating for child nutrition programs such as WIC, summer meals, and breakfast in the classroom; the role of the food business in anti-hunger efforts; SNAP; and more!
