Tim Jones’s comic strip Sour Grapes appears in the Attleboro Sun Chronicle in addition to other local newspapers. Tim will conduct a 45 minute fun-filled workshop, followed by a Q&A session and book signing. Paper and pencils will be provided by An Unlikely Story. This event is recommended for children 11 and up.

ABOUT THE BOOK:

Sour Grapes is a comic about Aesop, a miserably funny dog who can’t seem to get away from the misfortunes of life, including his companions, Maddy, Slice and Constance, who just add to the problem.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Tim Jones lives in Smithfield, Rhode Island with his wife and two daughters. He is a graduate of the Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI) and holds an Associate’s degree in visual art. He has been drawing cartoons for 20+ years and has taught his craft in many schools, libraries and other venues. In addition to drawing, Tim enjoys spending time with his family, reading comic books and collecting comic related items, and immersing himself into all things imaginative (and Nerdy).

Tim is a self-syndicated comic strip artist. His comic strip, “Sour Grapes” appears in several newspapers in Rhode Island and South Eastern Massachusetts including the Sun Chronicle in Attleboro, MA. He has also published his first book titled, “Sour Grapes”, a collection of his comic strips and other related drawings. Tim will be publishing more books in the not too distant future.
