A young man’s life is on the table. He has been tried for the murder of his father, and it is now in the hands of twelve people. Step into the jury room to witness the deliberation over this young man’s guilt. A poignant and potent piece of drama which gained acclaim as a a film in 1957, with Oscar nominations for best picture and best adapted screenplay. Rose’s teledrama from 1954 became a sensation, enough that it was re-written as a film, and later adapted by Sherman L. Sergal as this stage play.

Award winning Thespian Troupe 7444 proudly presents this classic play. Staged as theatre-in-the-round, director Jason Robert LeClair leads his cast of ten women and three men to create a tense and real drama. Witness the show that has been a piece of our American culture for the last 61 years since it’s original television broadcast. In today’s America, where justice and the law are topics that are on the minds of all of us, this play holds a timeless significance.

Experience the power of this play from a unique perspective – up close and personal. Seating is limited, this show is not recommended for children under 13 due to the intensity and seriousness of the content. Parental guidance for children under 13 is highly recommended.

“Twelve Angry Jurors” will be performed on Friday, November 20 and Saturday, November 21 at 7:00pm and on Sunday, November 22 at 2:00pm in the Beacon Theatre Workshop.  Ticket prices are $10 for adults and $5 for students.  For more information email troupe7444@beaconart.org
