Passive Aggressive Novelty Company will present the premiere of *a.vanishing.point *at AS220’s Black Box, on April 8th and 9th. Conceived and performed by Providence-based artist, Andy Russ, this multi-disciplinary work weaves together movement, sound, text, and image into an intimate, immersive audience experience that blurs the boundaries between dance, theatre, and performance art. *Start time is at 7:00 pm. *a.vanishing.point* is a meditation and a provocation, a “physical poem” composed of elements at once familiar and foreign. A chair, a book, a body, an ocean, a gesture, a song – these elements are repeated, rearranged and turned inside out, ignoring narrative logic in favor of “meaning” that is gained or lost within the resonance between sensory combinations.
