Join the Jamestown Arts Center (JAC) on Tuesday, July 28 from 7 – 9pm for Masters & Grasshoppers, a Bridgefest event, featuring Larry Lewis (Saint Petersburg, FL) and Chris Monti (Jamestown, RI), as well as amateur local musicians. In conjunction with this event Larry and Chris will run a free children’s program at 2pm on July 28.
Enjoy acoustic guitar with propelling bass lines and a strong vocal from Larry Lewis, as he plays a wide variety of tunes from across the decades, including beach melodies, rock, oldies, jazz, blues, country, Motown and contemporary.
Singer-songwriter and bandleader, Chris Monti, has kept his audiences engaged with a wide-range of instruments including acoustic and electric guitar, harmonica, clawhammer-banjo, bass, kazoo, dobro, lap steel, mandolin and piano. This multitalented performer exudes multiple musical styles, from country-blues and folk to West African and Caribbean dance music, incorporating and interpreting these techniques to make them his own.
