The Rhode Island Philharmonic will have an Open Rehearsal on February 21st. February’s concert, you’ll hear such an interesting pairing of Mozart and Mahler; two Austro-German Viennese composers. The performed pieces will be the overture to The Magic Flute, one of the most popular of Mozart’s operas,and then Mahler’s towering masterpiece, his Fifth Symphony.
