Lunar Notes: Horoscope for Dec 18 – Jan 14

Aries: You receive some public acclaim that is to your benefit. This may change your career trajectory and you may give serious thought to some higher education. Your network of friends and acquaintances provides you with some opportunities in the areas of love and romance and an increase in income. Not a bad deal.

Taurus: The holiday season kicks off an ambitious journey of learning and traveling for you. Whether it is actual travel or traveling in the mind, it opens you to new insights and new possibilities. As the Full Moon approaches, you receive some well-earned recognition. Thinking about preparing tax returns is a definite wet blanket.

Gemini: Money issues and shared resources put a strain on a committed relationship. This is not going to be resolved overnight. Things get intense at the Full Moon, but don’t give up. Friends offer an innovative solution.  But the money issue isn’t the only problem; there is some deep-rooted stuff that needs to be aired out. Talk about it!

Cancer: Relationships — the good, the bad, the ugly and the beautiful — all are stimulated, agitated, aggravated and believe it or not, agreeable. The planetary energy impacts who you are and how you relate. The lead-up to the Full Moon is a good time to talk things over and mend fences. Things get intense after that, but talk is always an option.   

Leo: Leo’s focus is on health, diet and ways to improve the daily routine. It’s not illness, but the prevention of. What’s good for you and what is not? That is the question. A possible romance with a serious sober type is not without its fun. A casual relationship may reach the commitment stage.

Virgo:  The holidays stimulate Virgo’s creative side and get those creative juices flowing. Earthy Virgo’s creations manifest in the real world. Virgo gets romantic these days as well. Full Moon time brings romance into the workplace. There is opportunity for an increase in salary as well. Talk about yourself, shy Virgo. Now is the time.

Libra: Home is where Libra’s heart is this holiday season. No bar hopping or making the rounds — it’s entertaining at home with a few intimates and those near and dear. The Full Moon lures you out with a few like-minded friends. Be on the lookout for romantic possibilities. At the least, you’ll have some plain old fun. Go with the flow.

Scorpio: Scorpio’s up for new ideas, new modes of travel and new methods of communication. You feel like a great weight has been lifted from your shoulders and are ready to move on. You’re not broke, but you do have to mind the budget. You may take those new ideas back to school or into a course in self improvement. Movement is the key.

Sagittarius: The Archer begins to feel the weight of responsibility this holiday season. It’s payback time. Not to worry, if you’ve done your homework you’ll get an A. If not, it’s revise and review time. Money plays a big role here, not so much the lack of it but the ability to handle it well. Think before you spend.

Capricorn:  Capricorn is looking for change. It could be as simple as a new haircut or as complex as a change in the domestic scene. Whatever happens, you are beginning to clear the decks for some major changes down the line. Anything that doesn’t serve you is headed for the dumpster. A personal relationship requires some thoughtful conversation.

Aquarius: You’re in no mood to deck the halls, but would rather spend your time in quiet contemplation, on a solitary hike or a with a good workout at the gym. Old friends lure you to the party and by the time the New Year rolls around, you’ll be howling at that Full Moon with the rest of the banshees. Be sure to have a designated driver.

Pisces: This is the time of year when you look to the future. You socialize big time over the holidays, but as the Full Moon approaches you’re really in need of some down time. You may howl at the Moon one more time before you settle in and contemplate your future. You have reached some goals and now is the time to make new ones.
