Emerald Isle transplants and the Irish-at-heart will feel right at home during our day-long toast to Celtic culture. Past musical favorites from the traditional Irish Festival band together for a 10-hour marathon of Celtic celebration. The likes of Gaelic Storm, Black 47 and Eileen Ivers have returned to the Newport waterfront for an epic rock-off. Joining them will be Tartan Terrors, Celtica-Pipes Rock!, and The Fighting Jamesons. Guinness’s “Pour Your Own Pint,” Irish vendors, spirited step-dancers, thundering pipe-and-drums and plenty of good craic round out the festivities.
