Gosch and Kehoe in Providence in the early 70’s as students at RISD. After 40 years of enduring friendship, the two painters have their first joint exhibition at Van Vessem Gallery. The two artists were key figures in the pre-Renaissance Providence arts community. They were heavily influences by the Coney Art Form- colorful, fantastic, humorous, and horrific. Their common appreciation for vintage magazines and shared interest in popular culture, comic book artists, science fiction, and vintage Technicolor movies have had a great impact on their individual painting styles.
