In celebration of children’s unstructured, self-directed play as a means of healthy development, this open-ended play is part of a citywide celebration of play! Antendees will build forts, design structures, invent imaginative playthings and more using an abundance of “loose parts” like sticks and branches, cardboard boxes, fabric and other interesting materials. There will also be bubble blowing, fairy house making and chalk art plus lively music by Joe’s Backyard Band from 12-2 PM.
