Could You Cover That Up? Local artisans making masks

If late last year you had told us that high fashion in 2020 would be looking like a bandit, we never would have believed you. Yet here we are.

On April 14, Governor Raimondo announced an executive order requiring customer-facing employees to wear a cloth face covering. Customers at those business also are encouraged to wear masks. Employers should provide masks to their employees, but customers with neither sewing skills nor a collection of handkerchiefs have to look elsewhere for their mask.

As always, artists come to the rescue. Check out the below list of local companies making masks.

Kreatelier: For every 10 masks sold, one will be donated to a local hospital or charity. Find them at kreatelier.com

The Violet Orange: Masks are available in bundles and in kid sizes. Check them out at thevioletorange.com

Maha Barsom: Thirty percent of all profit goes to the RI Food Bank. Find her at mahabarsom.com
