At Providence, a storm will bring rainfall of 2 – 3 inches, likely heavy at times, accompanied by wind gusts approaching 60MPH, will begin Sun 6pm and continue until Mon 5pm, with peak wind gusts exceeding 40MPH from Mon 4am to 4pm. Rainfall as much as 4 inches is possible.
Coastal flooding is likely and inland flooding is possible. Winds will be strong enough to take down tree limbs and cause electrical power outages.
