River Flood Warnings in RI, MA, CT: Wed through Fri, streets may be impassable at times

The National Weather Service has issued a series of River Flood Warnings effective Wed morning through Fri, with a number of rivers in RI, MA, and CT expected to ebb and flow throughout the period and overflow their banks at times, resulting in roads becoming impassable. Rivers affected include the Taunton and Pawcatuck, and may include the Pawtuxet.

Motorists are cautioned that road flooding may be deeper than it appears, and attempting to cross flooded areas may result in becoming trapped in vehicles with, at worst case, risk of death.
