See “the other Westerly” or the one only seen from the river. Float past farm fields, wooded wetlands and the historic parts of Westerly as you may have never seen them. There are a couple of swift water rapids (Class II) around old dams. The take-out is at the boat launch in downtown Westerly for about an 8-mile trip. Trips are for adults and older children and depart the Nature Center at 9 a.m. or at the put-in location at 9:30 a.m
