Urban Greens Food Co-op. Rhode Islanders devoted to opening a cooperatively owned grocery store on the West Side of Providence, are excited to partner with the RI Food Swap to host a Cookie Swap on Sunday December 7th. Participants should arrive with a selection of cookies for trading with others. The goal of a Food Swap is to connect you to the community and nourish your feelings of well-being through the simple act of giving and receiving. Beyond cookies to swap participants are asked to bring a non-perishable food donation for the The Rhode Island Community Food Bank.
