Marijuana Business Conference & Expo: May 17 – 19, Washington DC

This business trade show features 60 speakers and over 250 exhibits from various corners of the industry. Sessions include topics like trimming techniques, vetting business partners, navigating taxes and social media marketing. There is also a pre-conference day (May 16) that offers business and investor crash courses at an additional fee.

NCIA’s Cannabis Business Summit & Expo: June 12 – 14, Oakland, California

This business expo is offering five different educational tracks: Money, Law & Business; Cultivation & Processing; Running Your Cannabusiness; Policy & Reform; and Emerging Topics in the Cannabis Industry. There will be 140+ speakers and over 4,000 attendees, making this a great event for networking.

Medicine

CannMed Conference: April 9 – 11, Boston, Massachusetts

Located at the legendary Harvard Medical School, this event is a Personalized Cannabinoid Medicine Conference, aimed strictly toward the medicinal benefits of cannabis. Featuring renowned chemist Raphael Mechoulam, who is known for his work isolating and synthesizing cannabinoids, and many other accomplished health professionals, this conference will explore topics such as cannabis treatments for cancer, neurological disorders and inflammatory diseases, as well as cannabis testing and regulatory challenges. World Medical Cannabis Conference & Expo: April 21-22, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Presented by Compassionate Certification Centers, this conference offers the opportunity to network with top medical marijuana educators, businesses and professionals. It runs Friday – Saturday, and for those of you who can’t get time off of work, Saturday tickets are available for purchase as well. Continuing education credits are also available for health professionals!

This conference provides educational programming on cultivation, as well as business management.
